　　Water Is Important

　　We live in the earth, there is water around the surface of the earth, we can’t live without water. We drink water everyday, even in the food, it is said that there is a lot of water in it, even though we can’t see. People will die if they don’t drink water in the long term. Water is so important, we need to protect it from pollution.

　　我們住在地球上，地球表面有很多水，我們不能離開水而活著。我們每天都喝水，即使在食物里，據說有很多水分在里面，雖然我們看不到。人們如果在長時間內不喝水的話就會死。水很重要，我們需要保護水不受污染。

　　At noon, my mother carried a bucket of vegetables to the yard to wash dishes. My mother put the bucket in the sink and began to wash the dishes. The water was pouring and the water was all over, and my mother had not turned off the faucet. Then I saw it and said to my mother, "turn off the tap, or you'll waste water and pay more for it." Mother listened to my persuasion, hurriedly turn off the faucet.

　　My mother said to me, "my dear, I am sorry, but my mother is wrong. I will save water later. My mother smiled and I smiled.

　　中午，媽媽提著裝滿蔬菜的桶去院子里洗菜。媽媽先把桶放進水槽里，擰開水龍頭開始洗菜。水嘩啦啦地流下來，桶里的`水都滿出來了，媽媽還沒關掉水龍頭，水花四處飛濺。這時我看到了，對媽媽說：“快關掉水龍頭，要不然就浪費水了，還要多付水費。”媽媽聽了我的勸說，趕緊把水龍頭關掉。

　　媽媽對我說：“好孩子，對不起，是媽媽錯了。以后我會節約用水的。”媽媽笑了，我也笑了。

　　Water is very important to us.

　　If there is no water we will die. We can eat nothing for few days but we must drink water every day. Besides if there is no water the plants will not grow and the animals will not live. Therefore there will no food for us. But the water has been severely polluted nowadays. Much water is not suitable for drinking. For our human beings and our planet we must protect water.

　　Without it there would be no life any longer in earth.

　　水對我們來說是很重要的。

　　如果沒有水，我們會死。我們可以幾天不吃東西，但是我們每天都必須喝水。此外，如果沒有水，植物就不能生長，動物也活不下去。因此，我們也就沒有了食物。但是現在水資源卻被嚴重污染，很多水都已經不適合飲用。為了我們和我們的.星球，我們一定要保護水資源。

　　沒有水，地球上也就不會再有生命的存在。
